The legendary three-legged money frog (also called three-legged money toad), or simply called money frog (or money toad) is an auspicious symbol of attracting wealth and success. It is usually seen surrounded and sitting on a bed of a pile of gold ingots with a lucky or wealth coin in its mouth. This mythical money frog is a Chinese cultural heritage that has become inseparable to Chinese way of life and in many other parts of Asia when symbolically wishing to attract prosperity. It is popularly found in homes, restaurants, offices and wherever in the places of conducting money transaction in China; as well as around the world wherever those individuals who practice Feng Shui. It is believed to bring good luck and wealth when placed a money frog near where the flow of money is anticipated, like near cash registrars or on an office desk where business is conducted with customers. At home, a good location to place a money frog is in a corner of the room where a gathering point of chi is strong or in one of the corners inside the house near the front of the main door.
